hi there , you would be right about the cold , cod are slow this year and whiting ar'nt but the few cod about are good quilaty and looking at last years reports on this forum at this time things are only going to get better untill christmas untill the dreaded spratts come , who knows though its been a funny year . me dad went out on one of those small fishing boats on monday , my boat in the kings channell past the wind turbines off clacton and had a 10 pounder , 8 and 5 ,loads of good whiting and fricken loads of dogs and big ones at that . so a little late for the cod , there coming to a venue near you soon . oh i ate that 5 pounder last night and it was yum . full of hermits and shrimps ,they were yum too did,nt to cook those , they were half digested.  |
