Hi mate, have a look here http://hwee_surfcast.tripod.com/LubricatingBearings.htm it shows a picture with a home made bearing removal tool, looks simple enough to make
Hope this helps

Just a few points to make here ... the first is that you shouldn't need any major amount of force to remove any bearing on the 7HT ... bent paper clip does a very good job and actually stops you forcing them as it will bend out if the bearing needs to be freed up. These kind of extractors put stress on the inners so you do need to be careful.
The second point is about the link ... never shake a bearing about loose in a pot like they demonstrate as it's very possible you'll damage it .... the link actually says "a drop onto the hardground" may damage a bearing then they suggest you rattle it about in a pot. I've seen many a bearing damaged in this way.
Last bit is about heating rocket fuel ... totally unnecessary. All the grades of rocket fuel for bearings are more than thin enough to coat the bearings with just a couple of drops straight from the pot. If the bearings you have in your reel use nylon cages in the bearings its really not a good idea for them to be sat in heated oil as this can cause them to distort or melt (nylon bearing cages are very common these days) which won't help your reel at all. |

just read your post reel wizard it does seem a bit extreme to lubricate a bearing i have had my 7ht for a while it is only a back up reel i have never had the bearings out just rinsed under tap and oiled. |
