Hi all, went to a rock mark with the wife and wane to have a go to see if there were any Mackeral around still. i set up two rods, one with a pully rig with a cocktail of Sandeel and Mackeral (keeping my lug and crag for winter) the other with a set of lures for mackeral.
very poor mackeral wise with only one by myself and one by Charlotte, but the other rod woudnt stop going with Pollock, Coalies, Dogs, Dabs, and my first Codling this year. I sacked the lures and baited up the other rod.
Great days fishing for me but not for the wife with only two pollock and Charlotte with only a Mac
