hi paul, the nearest tackle/bait place i can think of is "gorleston tackle" other side of yarmouth, personaly have only fished "second avenue" in caister during the summer for bass, but thought it would look like a good autumn/winter venue.bait wise i would suggest, black lug, lugworm, squid good winter baits, maybe even mussels this time of year.really couldnt tell you best rig and range (probably have to sus that for youself) as i said only went for bass in summer at close range.
all the best

caister lifeboat station is a good bit of beach fish 100-200yds to the right of it as you look at the sea if your fishing 2 rods one with fresh black and lug on a pennel as far as you can 2nd rod 2hook flapper short to medium range out the place fishes better on the ebb at night scratby sell there lug in weight so the bigger the worm less bait try gorleston tackle good luck |
