Well , conditions were a bit bit rough , started fishing about 8 oclock ish , rained hard till about 11:30 , then the sea was flat calm and just a gentle breeze.
Fish cought were pin y-ting , a couple of pout and two small smuts , a couple of blokes next to us cought a small sole and the usual suspects.
Nothing worth taking a photo of , had one good y-ting of about 26 centemeters..."just under"
Glad the rain stopped , but fishing was pretty poor
Cheers

yes mate , every small pout goes on as live , i use a running ledger with about a five foot snood length , a fixed size 4/0 hook with a sliding 2/0 above it......still nothing....not even a knock !!!!
Tried dangling one over the edge , cast one out about 20 feet , 40 foot , 60 foot and launching one out there....nothing !!!
Ive not quite given up on the bass yet....but the cod are calling ?
Might give it one last try this weekend ? off to dungeness next weekend.
Hope to see u at the quay.
Cheers
