Couple of questions about this place. Have walked around a few times before, but have never seen anyone fishing there. Always presumed it was a 'no fishing' area. Also there is the wildlife, protected bird area there. Have heard of a few catch reports from there lately though, so are you allowed to fish here?
Also, if you can fish there, is it possible to fish most states of the tide? As it goes out a fair way, but I'm guessing the water is shallow around there.

Hi Dan ...thats a very good question because i fish further round ..the square...near the strand but iv not seen anyone else fish along the sea wall including harold hill.
As for when you can fish normally 2 to 2.5 hrs each side of high tide  |

hi mate i used to fish there .. was good for eels flounder bass you can fish 2 half hours up 2 half down ... you can get some crabs there two when showin...best bait i found was habour rag /an rag worm /an crab .. all so you can fish behind the old mathews ridding school...fished there couple off weeks ago had a few small bass ... hope this helps tight lines....trev |

Shall get over there and have a go soon. Was hoping to get out sunday, but not sure if I fancy fishing, with the weather we've been predicted.  |
