Was down at Beesands on Sunday loads of people about and a few fishing. Decided to get the rod out the car and had a quick bash gatting a few mackeral for dinner. There were a couple of kids a little way down the beach from me playing at casting so once I'd got enough I let them have a go at reeling in the next couple. Asked them if they wanted to release them to watch them swim off or if they were going to eat them (they were). They're dad reckoned it made their day but I'm not sure how happy he was at the prospect of having to head and gut the mackeral  |
