Hi all - Newbie to site - loads of great info but I cant see anything on Fishing around Ventnor on IofW...any tips on where to go for bait / best spots to fish ?? I'm coming over on Wednesday for a few days this week & thinking I'll bring my gear for a dabble =)

Hi, there is a good little Harbour area that you can fish of and the bay is quite good although can be snaggy in places, i would visit at low tide to find some decent marks

just got back....cheers for advice... tried the beach at ventnor & also fished off the walls to the east... Fish - 0....Weed - 75.. (every cast) but that said had a great time. Sure to be back to try my luck again !!!! |
