hi pete my sons girlfreind bought him one of these or the same sort of thing last year and he cought a 2lb chub on it from his local river more luck than skill he says though but was fun

Can be bought for about 3 quid on Ebay worried

My lad's got one, they're crap.

dave your right ive seen the ones on ebay but the one my son got wasant the same but he,s one is still only a gimmick thing really wouldent like to use it fishing properly he only used it as a laugh and couldent belive it when he had the chub on it

I'd like to see how it would perform with a decent mullet on the end, as petethehatch suggested suprise

theres a write up on a similar one in sea angler or total sea fishing. not sure which one.
they had a little fixed spool on it and it came in a little brief case. it looked pretty cool.
could be handy to have a little vacume packed bag with a few slices of bread in it for mullet and flung in the back of the car.
