I have decided to take up fishing from a kayak mostly in the Solent from the Gosport beaches. The Prowler 13 looks very good but I was not sure if a 15' kayak would be more suitable for the Solent. Please advise. |

I have a Prowler 13 and I use it all over the place including the Solent the 15 will track a little better than the 13 and you have a bit more room, but don't forget the weigh a lot more and handling on your own may not be so good. hope this helps if not get back to me |

The prowler for me wasnt the best choice, sure its very popular but its also heavy, has in my opinion too much space for clutter.
WHY anglers take 3-4 rods with them is beyond me...its more to get wet!
I have a Tarpon 120, now kitted as an Angler, 12 feet long, light enough to LIFT on car roof unaided, 2 holders, scotty, and I take just what I konw I'll use....
Some people take enough kit with them to have an angling jumble sale..
Hmmm maybe they are...didnt think of that |
