Fishcake & I fished haslar wall today using rag, 5 rods out without a bite, need fish please need fish |

I used to fish the Solent alot when we had friends living down there and I found it hard going most of the time.
One spot I usually did well from was Hill Head, particularly in the summer for bass. |

Fishing this time of year will always be a struggle to get right in anoungst the fish on a regular basis. Try back down the sea wall at night and nearer the spring time. Good bass close to the wall (squid, mackeral, rag etc). If your looking for to catch some fish soon, i`d suggest popping down to hillhead by the cliffs as they are still catching quite a few flounder.
