Fished the rising tide from 9.am to 2.30 (high water 12.30ish)at the 'The Point' .Calm sea ,sunny sky and an offshore breeze - Not ideal i know :!: The rising tide brough some small whiting and dabs -Two rods with lug and squid.Other anglers down there were catching the same with the addition of small codling early in the tide .Mme wish i could have fished this evening.Beautiful day though only marred by a heap of rubbish left by some anglers prior to my arrival-yes a 'kin heap  -old gas lamps ,newspaper, beer cans ,fishing line etc etc you know the score. To be honest i was embarassed being an angler ,any way it came home in my van (which was parked not at the waters edge but in the car park-Just read the 4*4 post-Dont get me on that one!). |
