Hi Jim, not too sure about the makers but they can be puchase complete with 2 bells on as well for £1 and just clip onto your rod tip. If bought in bulk they woud be cosiderably less. I will check with my local tackle shop.
Cheers

ive got a load of them you can have them i stopped using them as the line will some times go over the light wen casting and if you got a fish you could not reel in with the line stuck you can buy a tape its new and it lights up better then the lights you only need the slightest bit of light and they glow really good |

the best tape on the uk market is mightybright you just stick it on the part length of the rod tip,
can also be used on tripods and boxes etc.
much better then rod lights as the tape will reflect from a head light or torch. |

That's a good tip (if you pardon the pun!) I have always considered tip lights but I can imagine the line wrapping round it..
I think the tape (eventhough I have never come across it) is the way forward!!

If you have to use a tip light , then stick to the chemical snap ones much less hassle than them battery operated ones , theres plenty of tip tape on the market and as said mighty bright is probally as good as you get , i just purchased 2 packs of the mighty brite eclipse tip tape , black tape that dosent spoil the blank and lights up a treat once headlamp is shone on it , theres enough tape in a pack to do 2 rods and at £2.50 its a good buy |
