Hi Guys,
Fished Elmer beach and climping / West Beach L'ton after chatting to a plug chucker yesterday at pagham who had fished there on Friday to great success.
Thought I'd give it a go and arrived a sparrows fart this morning. Tied on the trusty size 2 DNA Chartreuse Clouser and started fishing an area where there was a nice disturbance in water flow about 25m out directly in front.

First cast, strip pause strip strip Bang! we're in! A nice healthy schoolie and a great start to the day.
Ok there's definitely fish here, time to relax. Four hours later, Fourteen Bass landed and safely returned with half a dozen follows from Gar concluded a great morning swffing.
At one point there were small fry in the water around me and just as I retrieved to re-cast, Two bass came shooting towards me in line abreast straight into the fry, flicked round and disappeared back, amazing! Another mark fixed in the gps.

So far, for me fishing from the shore this season has been great, much better than last year around the same time, IMO there just seems to be more fish around.

Cheers.
Jay.
