does any one know what can be caught at shell island in july, went there in may and fished at night for 2 hours and caught 5 doggies and 2 bass. going back in july and wondering what i could be catching and what the best bait would be. |

Hi there ive asked before what can be caught in this area, ive tried with lures from the inlet near the harbour from shell island and from the other side when the tide is coming in and also seen two others doing the same one day but ive not had any bites yet.
Where on shell island were you fishing and what methods were you using.
Im up near this location most weekends.

i was fishing from the shore wi me beach caster. i had three hook paternoster rig all with black lug on and a 5oz casting weight. was fishing near the inlet to the habour where it is sandy,right side. just right of the rocks and fished at night. tried it during the day but not much happening but at night a totally different ball game, couldnt sit down for the two hours i fished and lost a few fish. let us know how u get on nxt time u r there. |
