Had a good evening's Fly fishing from the Kayak tonight, , managed a dozen or so Bass averaging a pound with several over that, up to 3lb. Brilliant sport watching them fighting deep down in the clear water beneath the kayak, really enjoyable and a good average size. We fished a spot that we would normally fish by wadeing, but could stay longer into the tide without having to retreat, by using the kayaks.

Nice one Wighty.Looks like a good spot you have found as it keeps on producing for you.
If the bloody ferry wasn't so expensive id be over in the van with kayak on board.
Cheers

Good work Chris. You're getting these Bass sussed, alright. Got the feeling that this season will be a good one. Nice looking fish and glad to see you've cut them fingernails at last winking

Hi MOAM, I have a Perception Freedom Kayak, I bought a basic model and kitted it out myself. They are very stable and track extremely well, as well as being easy to paddle.
