hi lads me and a mate are thinking of coming up to loch etive in may but dont no to much about the fishing there any help welcome. eg where to fish what fish we can catch and what bait to use thanks. tony |

As far as i am aware you can catch dogfish/spurdog/mackeral/cod/wrasse/rockling/thornback rays/gurnard/flatties/whiting/pollack/coalie short spined sea scorpion and various others.

over 16 species in the loch are you fishing from the shore or on one of dougies boats ?
i am out on a boat this weekend best baits maccy or squid on hookais min size 2/0 hooks from boat for spurries and maccy for thornback rays and conger
fishing from the shore try Finarts bay check it on the map or cross the colonel bridge and follow signs for church or quarry hope this helps |
