Hi just wondering what i best mono or braid it will be going on my multiplier but its the first time using a multiplier be using mainly for peir fishing
any advise will be apriccated

Hi, you dont want braid on a multi when casting, if it birdnests you will never get it out. so its mono for your reel. Cheers..Mick |

I would stick with mono for a while , its cheap and you are unlikely to be fishing ultra deep so there will be little benefit from using braid.
If you get a few fluffy ones learning to cast the multi it will not bankrupt you if you can refill with bulk mono.
Likewise if somebody swings a full string of mackies into your line off the pier it will not cost you £30 for new braid.
