just wonderring if anyone has fished portishead marina recently, ive fished bp and the pier. but just want to know is it worth a try in the marina?

not sure if fishing is allowed there now.... before it went all posh Bruv and myself fished it once.... flounder from legered baits and a few fine pollock up to maybe 3.5lb to float-fished ragworm; later another pollack, even bigger, surfaced to nose the float along .....

just dont turn up with beachcasters and 5oz leads & tripods,you only need light gear here,and stay well away from the boats there,it does have no fishing painted on the floor in places,but if you tuck yourself away up the far end you should be ok,there is security there but they dont tend to bother with you unless you are casting towards the boats,but i can see this changing if mass loads of people start turning up here to fish it will only be a matter of time.
