Never been, but heard it can be very good. Apparently you only get a short session because the tide is so fast...

Hi there, I fish reculver quite often. It can be a bit hit and miss depending where you go time of year state of tide etc. The last time I went was just before xmas though so cant tell you how its fishing at the moment just a few tips.
people fish on the beach to the left of the carpark and off the wall. Never had success from that beach and only a little off the wall. best place for me is to head to the beach on the other side of the towers. follow the path to the other side over the hill down to the beach and fish where you want. I find it best just past the second groin of rocks. its a bit of a hike but if you want the best from reculver I find thats where it is.
The thing with reculver is not to go too soon after a blow as all you'll be doing is pulling up weed! even though its often the best time for fishing.
My last few outings there have been very successful. last time I went Whiting..too many to count, 6 dogs, 3 pout, 2 rockling. not had any cod off there though, mind you I'm yet to bring any cod home yet still working on that one! Best time at night. good luck

best time
