Might sound pretty basic...........but where?? how much does one administer??.........does it involve stripping down the whole reel ??, correct me If im wrong do you put it into the clutch assembly ie remove the cap and lubricate ??..........as I say Iv'e never used it. ..........JOLI  |

Hi Aston ,.....cheers I'm feeling a wee bit better, trouble is the rest of the Family bad now!!!!!, re the 'destructions' as you call them for the 'Rocket fuel' they just went WOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!, LOL LOL , need some advice .

Red, yellow and tournament are for bearings (though you could use them on level winds, spindles, knobs on the handles etc, anywhere you would use light oil). The grease stuff is for the gears (or bearings if you want to slow them).
Apply in usual way ... flush bearings with lighter fuel or acetone, dry out and apply a couple of drops. |

Okay thanks, so remove the three nuts on 'star drag' side,is that correct ??? ....remove plate and spindle 'flush' the bearings both ends, re lube and re assemble, and the grease is to slow it down if required ,got all that.................ok , many thanks.........JOLI |

If you are talking ABU or similar yes if you want to do the gears otherwise you can get at pretty much everything without touching the gearbox. By bearings I mean bearings that are involved in the casting ie spool and spindle bearings depending on the model. |
