I have been looking for a holdall for my beach casters for a while now,and have had problems finding the right one.The problem i have had is that my Penn PPT Sidewinder has a longer tip (which i know applies to a lot of rods). But i have found one that suits me today,so im quite chuffed. Its made by Shakespeare and marketed as the SALT range. It is different from other holdalls i have looked at because it extends from 2.07m (6' 9") or 2.55m (8' 4") which is perfect for my rod.It seems very well made with large robust zips and is a bargain at £20.

Nice one- I bought a Titan holdall which is really good quality but is a fair bit shorter than the one you just bought- incidentally and through gritted teeth as i've recently bought some other stuff from them at full whack- Titan are having a January sale with up t0 50% off some items- their cotton hooded smock is excellent quality and they do king size for the more rotund amongst us (including me)- it'scheap as chips in their sale.
PS- I'm not an employee of Titan or one of their agents- but I got a card through the door this morning advertising their sale- grrrrr |

Thats just typical though mate, you buy something then you see it cheaper a few days later, its makes you mad.I did have a look at Titan holdalls down my local tackle dealers but it just wasn;t what i was looking for.A quiver type wouldn't have been any good for me either as i want to be able to strap my rods onto the the roof bars of my car when i go on holiday. |
