Definately not .... pick somewhere safe, close to the car and with a flat bit under your feet. Snow and the cold are killers so play safe - doesn't mean don't go just be careful, its so easy to slip over and break something or slip a disc after a fall with all the cold gear on and if you end up on the floor all night unable to move in these tempretures it could be serious. Go with company if you can, pick an easy spot and make sure someone will miss you if you don't arrive home when planned.

Drink and eat plenty whilst fishing as you lose liquids and energy keeping warm and if the cold starts to get to you go home - its meant to be fun and frostbite isn't fun. big grin

Ty reel wizzard for the usefull advice, as you can tell i'm a novice. have fished cold weather before , but not in snow or when its snowing. And as it's snowing heavy here in Hull. Do have 2 places in mind, and am going to make mind up at 6am in morning, and see how things are.
