it looks a bit like my powertex Bass but hard to tell as all zzippys might look alike. ive shrink wrap on my butt and ive coasters instead of a reel seat so yours looks a little different.
google the powertex Bass and see.

or try and measure the width of the butt and tip and ill see if they match the one i have. how light is it?

thanks for the reply redmouse, but it was on ebay and i was trying to look at the rrp as it was sold at £122.
i didnt buy it in the end thou, i thought it would be better to research zziplex rods a bit more

any zzippy in good nick for that price would probably been a bargain but id be wary of buying without seeing it first.

i got mine for €70 and met a guy a few weeks later who i see fishing the odd time who also had one and was askin who built it and when i said i bought it 2nd hand he asked how much. i wouldnt tell him so he had a look at it and said €250?? i laughed and said lower.€200??, lower i said and when i told him it was under €100 he wouldnt believe me.
i saw him selling his one a few months ago on another site for €300 and was refusing offers big grin big grin big grin big grin . and he got it too. happy days i thought
