Managed to dig some nice worms on Friday so I loaded the van for a trip on Saturday only to be turned back by flood closed roads.
Sunday came and the wind wasnt too bad and South Easterly so I set off for a scenic drive round the closed roads, When I arrived at lehinch the wind was roaring full on Westerly so no hope of any fishing. The wind was so bad I couldnt take a freehand photo of the sea and had to rest the camera on a concrete post to steady myself[img]

Surfers would call it a 'white out', the main part of the beach there were no sets of waves it was just messy with all the waves converging on each other out for at least 500 yards. I hope I get the timing right for my next trip as I think the bass should come hard on the feed when the water starts to fine down again. |

What happened to the global warming they all talk about?
Bit severe looking at Lehinch, what about that kite fishing craze?
I have booked the rest of this week off, and hope to get a line in Wed or Thur, otherwise no more til post Santas visit.
