Hi guys.
Well what can i say about today?. Got to makro's arround 7.45ish, and yes it was raining, it went black and monsooned down, so hung on for a while to see if it would ease up. Then thought oh hell im here now, may as well have a bash.
First cast on 2 hook flapper had a nice sized flounder. and thought its going to be a good day, apart from rain. Thats till end eye of rod went missing. so went back home for other rod, by then the 2 guys from sheffield turned up. They saw what weather was like , hung on hoping it ease off, then decided to go back home. Can't blame them, no point in driving home in wet clothes. so they gave me their bait. and i carried on, on my own.
By now im thinking i need locking up for being out in this weather, but it stopped and sun came out,, and the wind picked up. even with 7 oz lead weight had probs holding bottom, but did catch another niced sized flattie.
Has taken near as 2 hrs to dry out gear, rod and box, and all bits and pieces. And also have 2 trays of worms to use up, so am going to try King George Dock car park tomorrow.
