Hi all,
Does anyone know of a cheap place to keep a boat around the Portsmouth to Hayling area?
I have a 18ft raider on trailer that does get a bit of a battering going up and down the A3.
Ive heard of fleetlands (m.o.d. base) but how do you become a member?
Thanks in advance |

I can recommend Southsea Sea Angling Club. I started boat fishing this year and managed to get a place in the compound. They have a website with basic info at...
http://www.southsea-sea-angling-club.org.uk
2 or 3 raiders already in the yard, so you can swap stories and tips etc
Good bunch of guys, being an absolute novice I've had loads of help and advice from everyone in the yard when I've been down there working on my boat. It's right on the slip on the edge of Langstone Harbour, and other members always help you launch and retrieve too. |

There's TBAC Tipner Lane, Tipner, Portsmouth. Cheap but tidal! |

Hi f1td.
If you have a look at the commodores letter it says you will be accepted if nobody objects so it seems you do not need to be recommended by a member.
I have fished from there and been to several of the angling sections `do`s' as a guest they were all excellent.
Perhaps a phone call or email to the sec and you could go for a pint and see what they have to offer.
