Hi, went down to Paull carpark with Dickyp, and conner. Armed with Blacks, macky n squid, we set to about 3 hours before high tide, fished till 20.00 with no success, Dickyp lost quite a few rigs etc, and although the river looked very calm there was a strong under current which swept the leads to right or left in seconds. It ended with a blank for all of us, though we saw 3 whiting caught by the lads on our right and left, they were using lug, but i think theirs was blow lug which is native in that area unlike blacks. Oh well at least it was nice to get out, and didnt waste a trip down to the coast where it was unfishable again, quite a few lads turned up after having been down spurn etc, they said it was throwing 10oz weights straight back on the beach. heres to next time, and thanks to Dickp once again for the trip, hes a really nice guy, but is the unluckiest person i know for losing rigs. big grin see you again soon, hopefully we can go where the fish are next time. Cheers..Mick
