hi all, i have not fished greenhithe for a few years now and was planning a few sessions... we used to fish on the thames wall at sara crescent an frobisher way.... our cars were parked legally away from these roads and we were quiet, however a few residents have came out claiming its a private area an we cant fish there.... is their claim right or is it a public footpath, i would have thought their ownership stopped with the houses an garden and not the thames path which isnt connected... any help is appreciated as we want to go back up there.... you get a long spell of the tide an the codling fishing has been 1 of the best spots we have found in the river...
cheers jay |

in my opinion if they pay for the maintenance of the road then the road is theres, and the should havea sign preventing access, saying this is a private road, |

nice 1 mate, suits me, as long as we can fish there dont mind parking round corner, 500 yards or 1/4 mile away, worth the walk that spot
