Hi Folks,
I have recently joined the MMBFC (Mumbles Motorboat & Fishing Club) and have been out twice in the last fortnight on their superb boat.
The maths are not good but for an aggregate we fished for approximately 25 hours, 18 rods, great baits including live sandeel and loads of experience on board with a total of 1 small conger, 3 bass and 1 black bream taken home. The weather and tide was perfect also so no excuses there.
The skipper worked the boat really hard to put us over the best spots but the place has just tailed off.
We asked a couple of other boats on the way in how there day went and it was the same thing.... dejected faces.
MMBFC is a great club though and the blokes I have met so far have been top line.
Regards
Mac |

i blame the trawlers. pity a big storm didnt churn up the sea bed and raise a couple of ww2 mines to blow the buggers out of the water. maybe anglers would have a chance then
you have been out on a boat and not caught much...i feel sorry for myself already with my early morning shore session tomorrow
anyway good to see another report on the site. i'll try update tomorrow if I get anything |
