hi all ,off to christchurch sunday to visit mum in law.just wondering if anyone knows of any spots to swff in that area .tightlines mick

Google earth ya lazy bugger.
Never fished that before Mickle but plenty of good spots by the looks of it.

didnt think of that si .may go for stanpit area on the marshes seen a few fish jumping there a few months back. i will let u know how i got on .suppose you will be watching sponge bob all day. big grin

Apparently there are bass in the harbour but no idea whether fly fishing is good, though I hear they do spin there. Be interested to know how you get on: thinking of going down there myself before the weather turns cold.

mudeford quay is a good place for fair size bass on baits ,and i know they spin/plug for them down the run out .maybe worth a go there on the fly .eaither way iam going to have a go .tightlines all mick
