Well lads, todays the day wet and windy but what the hell at least I'll get out and have a chat with a few fishing buddies. May even get to fish if the weather improves. big grin big grin

Like I said now have a caravan so no messing about with tents anymore especially trailer tents seeing that it took 5 hours and 6 men to assemble it last time.

Those that dont know me look for the following

Drive carefully lads, see you there

Well what a good meet it was member wise, shame that all fish caught were undesized and that the wind was so high but what the heck when meets are arranged months in advance we cant forsee the weather and we just have to make the best of it. big grin

Nice to see old members and to meets new one like Ian (Rockhoper) a nicer guy you couldn't meet. Good on yer mate for turning up with such a long drive for you. big grin

We passed out time when on the site with a good old chinwag and a few brews, devil devil

Thanks to Buster for helping what I hope will be 2 newbies with their tent both assebling and dismantling it. big hug big grin big grin

Will post a couple of pics later as Im knackered. crying crying

It was good to get away for the weekend and meet up with everyone.Firstly cheers Ryan for helping me,Declan and Lewis last night and you've got a fan club starting now Declan hasnt shut up about fishing with you since june and having you show him the ropes made his weekend. big grin (thats how big his grin was)

It was nice too meet Jak and Olly who were very enthusiastic about getting out fishing and i think both caught even if they was only small.Well done on the eel jak.Keith get them a set up sorted out and try and get them out again they really enjoyed it.As for sorting the tent out thats what its all about giving something back as i've took enough advice especially off mike, paul and keith.

All in all a good weekend shame about the lack of fish but you can't win em all

Cheers Dave
