we're supposed to be right in the middle of the macky season now m8 but it seems to be a very poor year for em all over the country. prob cos of the crap weather we've been havin.
give the feathers a go m8 you might be lucky. no harm in tryin |

not sure where everyone else is fishing from but the mackerel are plentyfull of the coast of Hartlepool, went out on the boat (about 2 mile of the coast) for 2 hours and had 19 mackerel in my bucket, i even brought 7 up on one line (i had 9 daylights on) i've also seen plenty of people fishing off the heugh bringing up mackerel. |

I havnt caught one single macky this year, last year i only caught one. It seems if your on a boat its a different story, but for most of us on the beach the macky are a no show again.
Cheers...Mick |

i had a few very early in the season but they seem to have gone out too deep for us beach casters to reach.
all the charter boats in the area have been getting shedloads but they just seem to be too far to reach from the shore |
