Hi all,
Im not taking Norfend (mick) fishing anymore because he caught more fish than me with a fly that i made for him.Shocking behaviour really.
Fished the OB's on the flood and caught plenny o fish on the Gurglers then they just turned off.Easy fly to use considering the terrain, shingle, mud n lots of weed.We both switched to a white/olive clouser and BANG instant results.
Queer innit.
Moved onto to the other end of the Island where young Michael totally outfished me and was hauling them in like a North sea trawler.
Adding insult to injury he managed to land a very healthy sized Mackerel,at low tide,in a muddy stinky frickin channel.
Top day with a fantastic sunset and zero wind the last 2 hours.........cheeky bastard,on my fly too!!!
Cheers
Simon
