hi there all
been down the pier quite a bit this week its been a bit quiet fishing wise but chocka all week down there,funny thing it has been really clean down there all week we left 11pm friday night no rubbish there got down there 2.30pm saturday afternoon couldnt believe it absolutely disgusting food cartons cans bottles everywhere must have been one hell of a party shame they didnt clean up after them dont think it was fishing people cos there wasnt any bait rubbish holiday makers i guess.
there have been a few decent fish caught me and scottydog have had a couple of smalleyed rays to five lb along with a few tope each also had a couple of other species turbot codling ,there are a few pollock and pouting coming in if you fish close in to the wall .also there is still a chance of a smoothie my mate christian had a 6lb starry saturday .
rigs used pulley pennel about 30inches long
my other son ian(funky monkey) a sea fishing virgin came with us to have a bash on saturday i think he is hooked first two fish caught a lovely little tope and then a nice smalleyed ray 4 1/2 lb http://img141.imageshack.us/i/dscn0322x.jpg/

Hi. I use 'image shack' or 'photo bucket' hosting websites...then I click the "img" button and cut and paste the address in. Hope this helps.


Shame about all the rubbish. Good to hear of someone making a few catches..especially with a variety of species like that! I've been hearing tales of codling making apperances along the south wales coastline... nothing in swansea area that i'm aware of yet and I can't travel so i'm waiting patiently.

What baits and rigs where you using if you don't mind me asking?
