What is the best rig for casting a live bait? Casting distance 30-50 yards maximum. If anyone has a link to a website I would be grateful.

Many thanks

Instead of making a normal sliding pennel rig what you do is use a 1/0 for the bottom hook and a 4/0 for the top hook (sliding one) have the 4/0 just above the 1/0. On the 1/0 bait it up with just a little bit of lug and squid then cast it out, then what happens is a little whiting or pouting will go for the lug on the 1/0 and get hooked, now you have a live bait so when the bass or what ever comes along for the whiting it will get hooked on the 4/0 which is just above the whiting. also with this way of doing it you can cast it out a long way because your catching the live bait out there. this also works fine at short range aswell.
