hello everyone, say if someone can cast 180 yards, there tecnique should be sound 8) , so from there how do they get into the 200 and 250 yard brackets :? , is it all down to practice or what, what is the secret  |

you have to practice to acheive a good technique. once this has been acheived it is then a case of fine tuning the cast. mid to high range of rods are capable of very respectable distances. the reel is an impotant part of the set up though.
but i would say that practice is the key. try not to practice on your own. |
