Another trip out, another blanking session! I feel i'm only out there to feed the damn fish! Not gonna give up though, i'm just going to try a different approach to my style of angling! Tried my hand with a multiplier reel and cocked that up big style so switched back to my trusted fixed spool! Rant over!! Thanks for listening |

Cheers Ducker! Might need to shadow somebody who actually knows how to fish and then i might just learn how it's done. |

Find a fishy spot, use two hook paternoyster and load it with ragworm. Keep it basic (i do) and you will catch. Search for "fishy" spots yourself you might strike it lucky. |

We all blank from time to time, but the secret is dont let it get you down. The fishing has been generally poor and some folk have been proud to photograph and show a 23cm fish and I dont mean kids. just to prove that they didnt blank.
This in my opinion puts the fish under unessesary stress and should be frownd on unless its a comp.
Keep at it and you will be rewarded
Cheers keith |

Thanks for the advice guys! You mentioned that i should look for "fishy" spots but as i'm relatively new to fishing, i'm not sure what i'd be looking for! Any hints will be brilliant. Thanks again....HB |

What size hooks are ya using fella? can be a good strategy to fine down a bit. size 4 or 2 hooks will land most fish swimming. Also use quality bait. rag worm is usually a good start at this time of the year. tightlines!!! |
