Nolan show shunts sea-anglers OR gagged by D.R.D?

A few weeks ago I introduced a reporter from the Seven Nolan Show to plight of inshore sea angling
And the ignorance of lobster pot men in and around our coast lines especially the north Antrim coast.
After meeting with the reporter, we spent a day going around the Antrim coast introducing him to anglers
on Garron point, Glenarm, the Ledges, Waterfoot beech, Cushendal and cushendun.

He asked them their views and concerns on illegal trawling, illegal netting and long lining and the
Ignorance of lobster pot men and to be fair the reporter was astounded on what he heard and witnessed, whilst
Watching the pot men drop their pots so close to the shore preventing anglers using that part of the
Shore and infact preventing anglers using quite a lot of the shore in what I only describe as
"No go areas for anglers".

On Tuesday 30th June I received a call from the producer of the Nolan show stating the airing would
Be the following day the Wednesday 1st July, and alerted a lot of anglers of this,
Who were interested to hear what the D.R.D would have to say.

However things took a sinister turn as I was contacted late on Tuesday night by someone who claimed to
work in the BBCand can only assumeisaangler, telling me that after the Nolan show had contact officials from Stormount to do their research,
The show would in no way be aired, and indeed this was the case, the show was not aired on Wednesday and there has
been no contact from the producer or any sort of day arranged of when this would be aired.

What I am asking of you, and I am appealing to the entire fishing community is this 1 minute of you time:

by phoning the producer of the Nolan Show on this number 02890 338313 and simply asking
"Why was THIS not aired"
