well on the saturday we went down for low water at out newton was plenty of anglers down and a couple of boats very close in saw 1 fish caught on the boat at low water, as for the beach side of things only saw 3 fishing pulled out 1 being me with a little flattie and the other person i was with with a flattie and some dude next to us caught a small schoolie, was a bit of a chilly day though big grin

headed down late sunday night to fish 4 hours up and 2 down on the early monday tide, fished with a running ledger rig on rag and squid first chuck in i got a doggie of roughly about 2lbs then on my third chuck in i got my first smooth hound of about 4lb and went really slow after that till near high water when i landed a nice 2lb ray and missed another bite had other baits with me but rag was doing well enough for me to stick with it big grin big grin
