we went down to hompton on the saturday morning got there about 7:30ish set up and fished it to top then about 2 hours down fishing pennel rigs with lug/rag tipped with squid, not a single bite but was nice to get further out of withernsea so we decided to come back down for the late night early monday morning tide and fish out newton.

after a hell of a bike ride we arrived at out newton about 3 hours before top started with a pennel rig then set up a bottom pully rig fished some shallow looking water there and was pritty much looking at another blanking session, but then i thought i would try in what looked to be a bit deeper water about 50-60 yards towards the white house first chuck in there we both had a bite then on my second chuck just before high water i landed my first ever doggie which made that long horrible bike ride worth the effort big grin fished lug not a nibble on that seemed they wanted rag but only mannaged to land the 1 fish, the down wasn't very good but gunna try again next weekend there if the weather is nice enough to bike it big grin

nice weekend out even if it was a windy one rolling on the floor

Nice one slippery,

If you can manage to get down al low water you will be able to see the gullys there......always worth a chuck into them.

Well done on the first doggie mate......keep it up
