Hi folks,

Is it too early for Mackerel. If so, what else is running at this time of the year, off a Pier????

Thanks!

They were begining to show up in Galway Bay in quite large numbers but this Easterly Wind is driving them back out again.

I spent three hours fishing for them(I needed some fresh bait) and only had 8 and they were at long range, half a spool emptied on a penn 525. Three days before you could catch them at your feet.
