I believe that there is a new island record.
I had a text from my dad who lives in East Cowes but deleted it so can't remember exactly what it was but I belive it was a ray caught off Gurnard |

The Island Stingray record was broken last night by WWAC & MSBFC angler Andy Wenden fishing at Gurnard. The fish tip the scales at 47lbs 11ozs beating the old record by 14ozs which was held by Pete Bennett since 2000. |
