For the third time in eight days I decided to fish "South of With" following the success of last Saturday & Wednesday accommpanied by "bazza byrom" (aka Gareth).

Arrived at noon just after low water so that we could take a look at the beach and decide where abouts we were going to fish. The mark that we chose was very close to the one that I fished Wednesday so here was hoping for some good fishing but how wrong were we.

On arrival the weather was sunny but there were strong gusts from the SW but throughout the session (12pm - 8pm) the weather could not make it's mind up. We had showers, NW, E, & NE winds, a bit of a rainbow and some awesome cloud cover at times.

We tried various baits that included Prawn, Squid, Peeler & Hermet Crab, Lug and various cocktails but without success and at all distances.

I managed to bag the only two fish of the day caught on big crab baits, a small yting (that christened my new rod) and a flatty, both were not worthy of being photographed for the album.

We live to fish another day!

Well done for braving the elements. I myself am turning into a fair weather fisherman. Thanks for the report along with the pics.
Cheers
