What sort of Cat is this? It appears from nowhere, disappears without warning, makes no sense, comes back without warning

Hi Edgey, It's a touch of childishness with a dash of innuendo. If you think laterally, you might get it -

Stripes (sounds like a perfectly normal cat to me. You know, the ones that treat your house like a hotel)

Never any good at thinking sideways. In fact if truth be told, I did once think sideways for too long. Many years ago when I was a uniform copper walking along Oxford Street, I saw a very pretty girl, wearing tight white shorts and a tight fitting t shirt, riding along in the opposite direction. I thought sideways for so long whilst looking at her, that I walked straight into a lamp-post. Not only was it extremely painful, my helmet fell off and I couldn't see a bloody thing. The funniest part of it was a blackcab driver who saw me do it, and hit the kerb laughing. The worse bit was that she saw me scrabbling about on the road, and came over to help me get up not knowing why I was on the floor.

So I suppose the nearest association I can get to Cat is

Blonde on a bycycle
