Arrived to fish Sandy Point yesterday evening just as bassfly was leaving. I have that effect on people. Water conditions were superb and the clarity incredible. Gave Sandy a good thrashing to no avail so trotted down to the back waters by the sailing club and spied a likely spot. First cast and I was into a schoolie. A few casts later another, slightly bigger. Both good little scrappers. Eventually it became so dark I could not see the end of my rod. Weird trying to cast in total darkness, no more Bass around so called it a day (night). Good to blow the cobwebs away. |
