Fished Out Newton with The Reel Thing today from 1pm - 6pm, there was a SW wind that was blowing straight up the beach but I managed to catch a small flatty and a small yting (both returned) on my new rods first outing.
The Reel Thing blanked but he did better than me on the boat yesterday!
Fished using fresh lug tipped with squid and also had another rod out with whole squid at distance and even that was stripped in 20 minutes by the crabs!
Looking at the weather that may be if for the week now |
