Is anyone making any plans for a day out fishing at the fort over the weekend?
Haven't been for a few weeks, and may go for an afternoon tide, but would like to know how its been fishing? |

i`m going to coalhouse fort sunday afternoon tide
had a nice bass last week ,,, hope 4 the same again lol |

Fished Tilbury on Sunday, and despite good weather and a lunchtime tide there was hardly anyone there. Not a bite, as usual.
BUT........
Fished this evening's tide - far busier than sunday - and I had a small codling at the top of the tide and lost a larger one half an hour later as I was reeling it in (both on lug \ squid tip), and several other people caught codling (incl one ?>4lb on squid alone) as well as a couple of flatties and a whiting.
Things seem to be looking up ...... I feel a night session coming on, better get to bed  |
