Ive been having a look at the Ragworm spawn on tinternet, surely this has got to be THE night to fish.
I believe they come out in droves with a sea temp, tide and moon phase.
Whats your verdict on this?
Load of old boloney or have i got too much time on my hands to look into these things!
Cheers
Simon

Maybe they spawn several times a year, with some of the spawnings taking place when Bass are present.

They only spawn in the late winter/early spring. The worms then die after mating.

In that case, bassfly's 'special night' will happen not when the worms are spawning but when the young hatch en mass. When is that likely to happen along the Solent?

Does that take the clock changing into account? Wouldn't want to be an hour early!
PS - Justin Anwyll has beaten MJB to writing that book.

1) I was never writing a book

and

2) There's no such thing as 'Atlantic Bass', it's just Orvis marketing spiel.
