hi all,another dull report again iam afraid,went to portishead today to fish from the pier,on route we popped into the local tackle shop to get some worm,had a chat about how things are fishing on the upper channel,and not much is being caught and what is being caught is only tiny stuff, which is'nt very often,well chat over time to move on.
Arrived at pier and got are kit set up and bait into the sea,while waiting for the bites to come,we noticed that on the right of the pier someone had tied
a few deadlines to the steel posts,well if by any chance you use this site and read the post's,then your deadlines are no longer there,what must have taken you a while to winde all that line around the post and there was a lot,took 2secs to cut off with my knife  and i will do the same again and again,anyway enough said.
we fished 3hrs up and 1hr down not a bite bait untouched,looks like the channel has gone quiet again, but will keep trying off out the weekend again will keep you posted.
